BPLA Past President Monica Grewal honored by International Institute of New England

On Friday, March 8th at International Women’s Day celebration, BPLA Past President Monica Grewal was honored. The International Institute of New England serves immigrants and refugees in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and each year, the Institute holds an International Women's Day celebration.
At the celebration this year, three outstanding leaders who are either immigrants or daughters of immigrants were honored.
In addition to Ms. Grewal, this year’s honorees are:
- Pardis Sabeti, who was one of Time Magazine’s Persons of the year in 2014 for her work fighting the Ebola virus.
- Christina Qi, a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree in 2018 who founded a successful hedge fund shortly after graduating from MIT.
