BPLA’s newest ad hoc committee held their first meeting on January 28th. , led by chairpersons MaryLou Wakimura and Kristen Salvaggio, is focused on fostering inclusivity and advancing diversity, within the BPLA and in the intellectual property legal profession as a whole. In addition to the two chairpersons, members Kristina Cary, Rolando Medina, Arianna Harris, Sophie Wang, Orlando Lopez, and Michael Bergman attended the inaugural meeting. Committee members discussed the need for concrete, intentional efforts to create both spaces where individual attorneys can find connection and support, and opportunities to educate and energize allies in our community.
