Diversity Event at Boston College Law School

On October 19, 2022, the Diversity and Inclusion and Law School Committees of the Boston Patent Law Association hosted “An Introduction to IP Law” at Boston College Law School.
The event was organized by Diversity & Inclusion Committee co-chairs Mary Lou Wakimura of Hamilton Brook Smith & Reynolds and Anant Saraswat of Wolf Greenfield along with David Olson, Associate Professor of Law at Boston College Law school and co-chair of the BPLA Law School Committee.
Moderated by Prof. Olson, the presentation drew a capacity crowd of students eager to hear the thoughts and advice of panelists Valarie Rosen of Cabot Corporation, Quincy Kayton of Wolf Greenfield, Anant, and Mary Lou. The topics discussed ranged widely over the demands and opportunities presented by life in private and corporate practice, as well as in various aspects of intellectual property law.

In light of the favorable response, the committees are looking forward to hosting a repeat event next year.
