Suffolk University Online JD Program

Suffolk University Law School recently launched a new Advanced Professional Online JD Program, a fully online, part-time evening program designed for working professionals—especially patent agents, technical specialists with PhDs, and individuals with strong academic or professional credentials. Suffolk Law hopes to begin enrolling students for the Fall 2026 semester as soon as the program has received formal acquiescence from the American Bar Association for the Advanced Professional Online JD Program.
Students in the Advanced Professional Online JD Program will complete all coursework online, including the 1L year, in a program that combines flexibility with rigorous legal training.
Benefits of Suffolk Law’s newest JD program include:
  • Fully online format—no residential requirement
  • Evening classes designed for working professionals
  • Limited to 36 students per entering class
  • 4-year, part-time curriculum
  • Synchronous and interactive online courses
