On August 5 and September 10, the BPLA In-House Committee held virtual brown bag gatherings. Participants introduced themselves, discussed the changes they have experienced as in-house counsel, largely working from home during the pandemic, and how their practice and companies have been affected. Participants also discussed how outside counsel can better support their in-house clients in the current climate. More senior members of the group discussed the differences between working in-house and at a law firm, and provided career advice to other participants. Attendees at both events enjoyed the active and genial conversation. The BPLA thanks the participants at both events and looks forward having additional brown bag gatherings in the future.
