John Hamilton:
John has transitioned from Burns & Levinson LLP to his own firm, the Law Office of John A. Hamilton LLC, where he will continue to focus on building patent portfolios, providing strategic advice concerning competitive IP rights and Food and Drug Law, and supporting related business transactions. John has been practicing law 17 years in a wide range of technologies, following 12 years with the FDA.Tathagat Dutta Ray, Ph.D:
Prior to joining HBSR, Ray was a Ruth L. Kirchstein National Institutes of Health Research Fellow at Boston University School of Medicine, where he was studying the crosstalk of the complement system and innate immune signaling pathways in infectious and chronic inflammatory diseases. . Ray also did a postdoctoral fellowship at New York University School of Medicine, where he worked on cardiovascular diseases and chronic inflammation. He holds a doctorate from University of Massachusetts Medical School where he identified and characterized novel complement pathway blocking antibodies in human serum and studied their implication in vaccine design and efficacy. Tathagat “Ray” will provide expertise and assistance in our life sciences patent preparations and prosecution, as well as litigation support.Quincy Kayton:
Quincy joined McCarter and English in October 2017 as an associate in the Firm's Intellectual Property/Information Technology Group. She will be focusing her practice on IP litigation and trademark prosecution.
