MOOT Court Judges Needed
Giles S. Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition Friday, March 17 To Sunday, March 19, Suffolk Law School
By Emma Hall and Carolina Säve
The Moot Court Committee needs your help making this year’s Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition another success! We will have teams from across the Northeast participating, and we will need many volunteers to serve as judges for the oral arguments. Please email Moot Court Committee Co-Chairs Emma Hall and Carolina Säve at
mootcourt@bpla.org
if you are able to volunteer.

We need volunteers to serve on our three judge panels to cover the following arguments during the competition:
    • Friday, March 17
      at 4 pm
    • Friday, March 17
at 6 pm (followed by a cocktail reception)
    • Saturday, March 18
      at noon (semi-finals)
    • Sunday, March 19
      at noon (finals)
Each judge will also receive a copy of the problem, a bench memo and sample questions for participants, as well as a scoring rubric.
As our past volunteers are aware, BPLA participation is integral to making this great event happen every year, so please consider volunteering however you are able.
    Thank you!
      Emma and Carolina
